Effect Of Shenqi Danji Huangjing Decoction On Chronic Heart Failure With Decreased Ejection Fraction (Qi-Deficiency And Blood-Stasis Syndrome)

Objectives To explore the clinical effect of Shenqi Danji Huangjing Decoction on chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction(Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome),the clinical indicators were observed.Methods From January 2021 to January 2022,seventy patients of chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction(Qi deficiency and blood stasis)were selected from the ward of cardiovascular department 1 of Tangshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients were randomly divided into two groups: Control group and Trail group.Patients in Control group were treated with conventional western medicine,while Shenqi Danji Huangjing Decoction combined with conventional western medicine were administrated in Trail group.The observation period of both groups was 4 weeks.Clinical observation indicators: NT-pro BNP,LVEF,six-minutes walking test,cardiac functional grading,TCM symptom score and Minnesota Quality of Life Assessment of heart Failure.Patient safety indicators: the indicators that best reflect safety in tests of liver function,kidney function and others.The relevant data were recorded and analyzed statistically with SPSS 23.0.Results A total of 70 patients were included,one case in each group was shed,and one case in the Trail group was excluded.1)After statistical analysis,there was no significant difference between the two groups in general baseline data(gender,etc.),NT-pro BNP,LVEF,cardiac function grading and other aspects before treatment.The data in the two groups are comparable(P > 0.05).2)The results of various indicators after treatment are as follows:(1)The NT-pro BNP levels of patients in both groups reduced(P < 0.05),and better reduced in Trail group(P < 0.05).(2)The LVEF of patients in both groups elevated(P < 0.05),and better elevated in Trail group(P < 0.05).(3)The cardiac function of patients in both groups improved with the effective rates were 87.88% and 73.53%respectively,and better improved in Trail group(P < 0.05).(4)The six-minute walking distance increased in both groups(P < 0.05),with a greater increase in Trail group(P <0.05).(5)The TCM syndrome score of patients in both groups decreased(P < 0.05),and the extent of reduction in Trail group was better(P < 0.05).The effective rates of the two groups were 90.91% and 70.59% respectively,and the effective rate in Trail group was higher(P < 0.05).(6)The scores of Minnesota Quality of Life Assessment of heart Failure decreased in both groups(P < 0.05),with a better reduction in Trail group(P < 0.05).(7)After treatment,there were no significant changes in major safety indicators in either group.Conclusions The treatment of Shenqi Danji Huangjing Decoction combined with western medicine could reduce NT-pro BNP of patients,improve the LVEF and the cardiac function of of patients,improve the six-minute walking distance,the scores of TCM syndrome and Minnesota Quality of Life Assessment of heart Failure,with no obvious abnormalities in safety indicators.Figure 0;Table 14;Reference 136.
