ObjectiveBased on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology(UTAUT),this study builds a model of influencing factors of the elderly’s intention to use "Internet + Nursing Services".To explore the intention of the elderly to use "Internet+ Nursing Service" and its influencing factors,in order to provide theoretical basis and policy suggestions for the promotion and innovation path of "Internet + Nursing Service" in Gansu province.MethodsThe literature review method was used to study and sort out the development status and related research results on "Internet + Nursing Service" and the UTAUT model.Based on the UTAUT model,we combined the technical characteristics and service context of "Internet + Nursing Service",included variables and indicators, formed a model of influencing factors on the intention to use "Internet + Nursing Service" of the elderly and put forward research hypotheses, and initially the questionnaire on the intention of elderly people to use "Internet + Nursing Service" and the influencing factors was formed. The potential influencing factors of the intention of the elderly to use "Internet + Nursing Service" were discussed through the method of thematic group discussion. The questionnaire was adjusted and optimized, and the official questionnaire was formed after pre-survey and reliability test. From November 2021 to October 2022,526 elderly people who met the inclusion criteria in6 communities in Lanzhou were selected as research objects by convenience sampling method.Face-to-face questionnaire survey was conducted.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the survey data, including the descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA.AMOS 22.0 software was used to construct and revise the model of the factors influencing the intention of elderly people to use "Internet + Nursing Service",fit test, path analysis and hypothesis verification.Results1.The current situation of elderly people’s awareness and intention to use "Internet + Nursing Service"Among 526 respondents, only 140(26.6%)of the elderly had heard of "Internet+ Nursing Service";The average score of the elderly’s intention to use "Internet +Nursing Service" was(3.97±0.86)points;375(71.3%)of the elderly compare/fully agree: if conditions permit, now willing to use "Internet + Nursing Service";436(82.9%)of the elderly compare/fully agree: if conditions permit, they are willing to use "Internet + Nursing Service" in the future.2.Influence of general information of the elderly on the intention to use "Internet+ Nursing Service"Age,education level, marital status, per capita monthly household income, number of chronic diseases, whether they had heard of "Internet + Nursing Service",years of smartphone use,and willingness to accept could affect the intention of elderly people to use "Internet + Nursing Service".The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Structural equation model test results of influencing factors of the elderly’s intention to use "Internet + Nursing Service"Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions, and individual innovation had positive effects(P<0.05)on the intention to use "Internet +Nursing Service" of the elderly, with standardized path coefficients of 0.213,0.314,0.668,and 0.357,respectively;perceived risk and resistant to change had positive effects on the intention to use "Internet + Nursing Service" of the elderly.Perceived risk and resistant to change had negative effects on the intention to use "Internet +Nursing Service"(P<0.05),with standardized path coefficients of-0.042 and-0.051,respectively;facilitating conditions positively affected older adults’ performance expectancy and effort expectancy(P<0.05),with standardized path coefficients of0.853 and 0.841,respectively;individual innovation positively affected older adults’ effort expectancy(P<0.05)and negatively affected older adults’ perceived risk(P<0.05),with standardized path coefficients of 0.114 and-0.228,respectively;technology anxiety positively affected older adults’ resistant to change(P<0.05),with standardized path coefficients of 0.480.Conclusion1.The awareness rate of elderly people about "Internet + Nursing Service" is low but their intention to use it is high.2.The elderly in the lower age group, the higher education level, the spouse, the higher monthly income per capita in the family, the number of chronic diseases, the knowledge of "Internet + Nursing Service",the long years of smartphone use and the high willingness to accept the "Internet + Nursing Service" are more intention to use the "Internet + Nursing Service".3.Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, facilitating conditions and individual innovation positively had positive effects on the intention to use "Internet +Nursing Service";Perceived risk, resistant to change and technology anxiety had negative effects on the intention to use "Internet + Nursing Service".And sorting by the size of its total effect value: facilitating conditions > individual innovation > effort expectancy > performance expectancy > resistant to change > perceived risk >technology anxiety.
