Objective:Based on data mining technology, through statistical analysis of relevant literature,to explore the syndrome differentiation, medication and prescription rules of bupleurum prescriptions in the treatment of depression,so as to find a more effective new prescription for the treatment of depression by traditional Chinese medicine, and to open up new ideas and methods for the treatment of depression by traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: The related literature of bupleurum prescriptions in the treatment of depression published on China National Knowledge Network was searched and collected, and screened according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, and the syndrome and traditional Chinese medicine involved in the literature data were standardized. The TCM inheritance computing platform was used for statistical analysis of syndrome, syndrome element, frequency of use, dose, four qi,five taste, meridian conversion and efficacy categories, and drug association rules and prescription cluster analysis results were obtained. Results:A total of 200 literatures were included, and the statistical analysis results were as follows:1.The main syndromes of bupleurum prescriptions in the treatment of depression are liver qi stagnation syndrome, liver qi and fire stagnation syndrome and liver qi and spleen deficiency syndrome.2.Syndromes were divided into syndrome elements, among which "liver" accounted for 66.67%;The second was spleen, accounting for 10.88%;"Qi stagnation" accounted for 53.13% of the pathogenic syndromes.Followed by "heat(fire)",accounting for 18.75%.3.Top 10 medicines used frequently were bupleurum, scutellaria, pinellia, oyster, ossa draconis, poria cocos, cassia twig, jujube, licorice and ginger.4.The most commonly used doses of high-frequency drugs were bupleurum15 g,scutellaria 10 g,pinellia 10 g,oyster 30 g,ossa draconis 30 g,poria cocos15 g,cassia twig 10 g,jujube 10 g,licorice 6g and ginger 9g.5.The four qi used in traditional Chinese medicine are mostly cold, warm and flat, while the five tastes are mostly bitter, sweet and pungency, and the main channels of medicine are lung, spleen, heart, liver and stomach.6.The class of drug efficacy was led by tonifying deficiency, followed by relieving surface, clearing heat, reducing phlegm and relieving cough and asthma, and calming liver and wind,etc.7.The application frequency of bupleurum-scutellarium-pinellia pinellia was the highest among the drug combinations, and the use frequency of bupleurum-scutellarium-ossa draconis-oyster,bupleurum-scutellarium-poria,bupleurum-scutellarium-cassia were also relatively high. After cluster analysis, five new clustering combinations were obtained.Conclusion:1.Bupleurum prescriptions for depression are mainly based on the liver and spleen, and the main treatment is to nourish the liver and spleen, and to dissipate heat through Qi.The drugs are mainly bitter and cold products, which directly break the liver fire, combined with sweet and warm drugs,to nourish the spleen and soil.Bupleurum,Radix baicalensis, pinellia pinellia, oyster, keel, poria, cassia twig, jujube, licorice, ginger and other tonifying deficiency, relieving surface, clearing heat, eliminating phlegm and calming liver drugs are often used for syndrome differentiation treatment.2.Through the calculation software of traditional Chinese medicine inheritance platform, the 7 groups of core drug combinations and 5 cluster new prescription combinations extracted were analyzed, and the rule of their prescription composition was discussed,so as to explore the applicable syndromes of their application in the clinical treatment of depression,in order to contribute ideas and directions for clinical diagnosis and treatment work and research.
