Since the occurrence of COVID-19,General Secretary Xi Jinping has made a series of important instructions and instructions to adhere to the people first and life first, and to coordinate epidemic prevention and control with social development.Compared with urban areas, rural areas have a lower level of medical care and bias in residents’ cognition,so they face more risks and pressure in epidemic prevention and control. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued a series of requirements such as "Notice on the Prevention and Control of the Current New Coronavirus Epidemic in Rural Areas" to do a good job in educating and guiding rural residents.Although the current New Coronavirus has been classified as " Class B infectious diseases " and the national epidemic prevention and control has entered the stage of normalized prevention and control, there are a large number of people left behind living in the rural areas of central and western China, who are both vulnerable groups in epidemic prevention and control and information vulnerable groups in the current media environment. Therefore, how to carry out effective education and guidance in the current media environment has become a real problem in the normalized prevention and control of the epidemic in the central and western villages. It is of theoretical and practical significance to focus on the current situation of the media environment of new crown epidemic information in the countryside under the current media environment;to explore the influential factors in the cognitive formation of rural residents;and to analyze how the relevant factors act on the cognitive formation of villagers and their cognitive outcomes,in order to do a good job in rural epidemic prevention and control education and guidance work.Taking L Township,Shanxi Province as the field, this paper constructs an influencing factor model of rural residents’ new crown epidemic information cognition on the basis of ternary interactive determinism through in-depth interview method and questionnaire survey method, and uses SPSS26.0 to perform descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis and mediation effect analysis to verify the relevant hypotheses. The results show that media channel contact, media content, media credibility, information involvement, and complex media environment significantly positively affect villagers’ perception of the new crown epidemic information.Human-to-human transmission and social distance of the epidemic did not have a significant effect on the perception of rural residents. The complex media environment is the mediation of media content in the formation of villagers’ new crown epidemic information cognition.Based on this, this paper proposes three strategies: broaden the access to health information and strengthen the health literacy education of rural residents;Create a multi-media content environment, reasonably set the agenda, and promote the in-depth involvement of health communication;Give full play to the advantages of existing media, play the content card and trust card of health communication,so as to improve the health awareness level of rural residents. |
