Objective: Through clinical observation,we compared the treatment methods of congested nose with acupuncture and moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine, and the treatment of congested nose with traditional Chinese medicine only with needle pricking and traditional herbal medicine only to enrich the treatment methods of congested nose and provide new ideas for clinical practice. Methods: One hundred and eight patients who attended the ENT clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to November 2022 and were diagnosed as congested nose with weak cold were included, and were classified into three groups using a randomized controlled trial method: therapy group 1 was treated with acupuncture and moxibustion combined with herbal drugs, therapy group 2 was treated with only concomitant needles and herbal drugs, and the control group was treated with only herbal drugs. The injection and ayurveda were administered once daily, and the oral herbal medicine was administered twice daily for 2weeks.The symptom score scale and quality of life questionnaire were observed and recorded before and after treatment in the three groups, and follow-up was performed and relevant indexes were recorded 12 weeks after treatment. The relevant data were imported into Excel to create a databank, and statistical software SPSS25.0 was used for description and profiling. Results: 1.A total of 97 valid cases were collected after detachment and rejection. There were no statistical remarkable errors in both sex, age, length of stay, total symptom score,VAS score scale, and RQLQ quality of life questionnaire in the three sets of subjects who were treated before surgery(P > 0.05),which were comparable.2.Rhinologic symptom points: the post-treatment scores of three groups were markedly reduced in comparison with those of the pre-treatment period, with strikingly different statistical meanings(P < 0.05).The curative benefit of the needle prick and ayurvedic moxibustion together with herbal medicine group was obviously superior to that of the only needle prick combined with herbal medicine group and the only herbal medicine group(P < 0.05),which was especially noticeable in the alleviation of rhinorrhea congestion symptoms(P < 0.05).3.VAS rating scale: The results of the VAS rating scale showed a statistically significant decrease(P < 0.05)in the patients in the three groups who received therapy, with marked discrepancies when compared with those before therapy.Between-group competition: the effect of therapy in the needle prick and ayurvedic combined with herbal medicine group was more effective than that in the only needle prick plus herbal medicine group versus the only herbal medicine group(P < 0.05),especially in improving the symptoms of breath-holding,itchy eyes, tearing, and eye pain(P < 0.05).4.RQLQ life assessment instrument: after treatment, the scores of RQLQ life assessment instrument in all three groups showed a remarkable drop compared with those prior to treatment(P < 0.001),and there was a remarkable difference in statistics;in the comparison between groups following therapy, the decrease in scores in the needle prick and ayurvedic combination herbal group was more significant than that in the only needle prick plus herbal group and the only herbal group(P < 0.05),and this comparison was statistically significant The comparison was found to be statistically notable.5.Clinical therapeutic effect: the curative power of needle prick and ayurvedic combined with herbal drug group was 96.88%,the efficiency of only needle prick together with herbal drug group was 90.63%,the efficiency of only herbal drug group was 75.76%,The needle prick and ayurvedic moxibustion combined with herbs group was higher than the needle prick only combined with herbs group versus the herbs only group, and the variation was found to be statistically meaningful(P < 0.05).6.Conclusion: The combination of needle prick and ayurvedic moxibustion with herbal treatment, only needle prick with herbal treatment and only herbal treatment can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and signs of patients with congested nose and improve the quality of life of patients.2.The combination of needle prick and ayurvedic moxibustion herbal treatment is superior to z only needle prick combined with herbal drug therapy and only herbal drug therapy, with higher apparent efficiency and better long-term efficacy.3.Needle prick and ayurvedic moxibustion plus herbal therapy weak cold congested nose process safety, lasting effect is obvious.
