| OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of Fuming tablet combined with lightning fire moxibustion in the treatment of diabetic dry eye,and to provide a new direction for the treatment of diabetic dry eye.METHODS: From December 2021 to October 2022,66 patients diagnosed with diabetic dry eye in the ophthalmology outpatient department and inpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Chinese Medicine were collected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group,with 33 patients in each group.According to the current clinical guidelines for the accepted treatment of dry eye,the control group was only given sodium hyaluronate eye drops.The treatment group was treated with Fuming tablets combined with thunder fire moxibustion.The two groups were treated for 3 courses(a total of 30 days)respectively.Before and after treatment,the ocular surface disease index score(collected by OSDI scale),Noninvasive tear breakup time,and invasive tear breakup time were detected and queried respectively.Fluorescein(NIBUT),Schirmer I Test(SⅠt),fluorescein(FL)and corneal perceptual score were recorded and statistically analyzed.To compare whether the clinical effect between the two groups was statistically significant,which provided clinical basis for the study of the treatment of diabetic dry eye by Fuming tablet combined with lightning fire moxibustion.RESULT:1.General data:The general information(gender,age and pre-treatment test data)of the two groups of patients were tested before treatment,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant,there was comparability.2.NIBUT:After treatment,intra-group comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed that the tear breaking time of both groups was improved after treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;Comparison between groups,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,the treatment group was better than the control group.3.SⅠt:After treatment,intra-group comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed that the secretion of both groups was increased after treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;Comparison between groups,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,the treatment group was better than the control group.4.FL score:After treatment,the intragroup comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed that corneal coloration was reduced in both groups after treatment P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;Comparison between groups,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than the control group,and the corneal coloring was reduced.5.Corneal perception score:After treatment,intra-group comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed that corneal perception in the treatment group was improved after treatment,P<0.05,there was statistical significance;Corneal perception did not improve significantly in control group,P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant;Comparison between groups,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the corneal sensitivity was improved.6.OSDI score:After treatment,intra-group comparison between the treatment group and the control group showed that the scores of both groups were decreased after treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant;Comparison between groups,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,and the improvement of eye discomfort was more significant.7.Completion rate and total effective rate: According to statistics,during the course of this study,5 of the 66 patients included had shedding,and 61 completed this study,with a completion rate of 92.4%;The total effective rate was 93.5% in the treatment group and53.3% in the control group.The effective rate of the two groups was tested,P<0.05,the total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group.CONCLUSION:1.The combined treatment of Fuming tablets and thunderfire moxibustion is more effective in the treatment of diabetic dry eye than that of sodium hyaluronate eye drops alone.2.Fuming tablets combined with thunderfire moxibustion can relieve eye discomfort of patients by increasing tear secretion,stabilizing tear film and prolonging tear film rupture time,and also has significant efficacy in repairing corneal epithelium and improving corneal nerve sensitivity.3.Fuming tablet combined with thunity-fire moxibustion is a combination of two traditional Chinese medicine treatment methods.The use of internal and external treatment at the same time,internal and external coordination,specimen consideration,can effectively improve the discomfort of patients,clinical effect is significant,and can provide reliable treatment basis for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of diabetic dry eye. |
