| Objective On the basis of previous work, this study used Guyifang as the breakthrough point, and observed the changes of clinical symptoms, signs and inflammatory factors after the early application of Guyifang in children with tibial and fibular shaft fractures,to further explore its effects of detumescence, analgesia and anti-inflammation,so as to provide the necessary clinical basis for the use and promotion of Guyifang.MethodsFrom January 2022 to January 2023,a total of 60 children with tibial and fibular shaft fractures who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into two groups, namely the treatment group and the control group, with 30 cases in each group. After admission, both groups improved routine examination and received the same basic treatment: manual reduction, small splint fixation, yellow gauze external application and so on.In the treatment group, the dosage of Guyifang’s children was 1 dose a day, which was decocted in bags and taken separately after breakfast and dinner, with a dosage for 7 days. The control group was given Sanqi Huayu oral liquid twice a day for 7 days,10ml/ per day, after meals. Then the circumference of the most swollen part of the affected limb in the two groups was measured before medication,on the third day and on the seventh day, respectively. At the same time, the pain score was taken for the children, and the CRP level was detected by blood drawing. Finally, the degree of swelling, pain score and CRP level between the two groups were statistically analyzed.ResultsA total of 60 children who met the inclusion criteria in this study were selected, and 56 children were finally able to complete the study.Three children in the treatment group and one child in the control group were excluded because of the tension blisters during the test and the need for other drugs and operational interventions. The final grouping conditions were as follows: 27 cases were taken as the treatment group, and 29 cases were taken as the control group. There were 34 males and 22 females in this study.Their age ranged from 6to 12 years old, with an average age of 10.25 years old.Limb injury sites: left and right sides in 28 cases. There was no significant difference in age, gender or injured limb site between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).The baseline between the groups was consistent, and comparability was good. The random grouping was effective. There was no significant difference in the swelling circumference before and after medication between the two groups(P > 0.05).Compared with the control group, the average swelling circumference on the third and seventh day of treatment in the treatment group was significantly different(P < 0.05).In terms of pain score, the overall mean F-VAS score among groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the levels of inflammatory cytokines(CRP)before treatment,on the 3rd and7 th d after treatment between the two groups(P > 0.05).ConclusionOn the one hand, aiming at the tibial and fibular shaft fracture in children, the Guyifang can promote the swelling of the affected limb to subside, relieve the local pain, and reduce the level of inflammatory factors to a certain extent, thus improving the overall curative effect, which has high clinical application value and is worthy of further application and promotion in clinic. |
