Since the teaching principle of "combination of structure,function and culture" was put forward in the 1990s,cultural factors have gradually become an important content of research on teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The intermediate stage is the transition period for learners from "learning language" to"understanding language",and cultural factors are the key to"understanding language".At present,the standard has not been formed of the classification of cultural factors of intermediate Chinese listening,and there are relatively few researches on teaching design.Based on the academic research results and the specific content of the textbook,using content analysis,data analysis and case analysis,this paper takes the textbook"Development of Chinese-Intermediate Listening"(Second Edition)as an example,divides cultural factors into two major categories:knowledge culture and communicative culture.There are 10 cultural factor sub-categories such as language and literature,Chinese national conditions,social communication,and values.We have carried out exhaustive statistics on the cultural factors in"Developing Chinese·Intermediate Listening".Statistics show that the knowledge and cultural factors are generally higher than the communicative cultural factors.Among the communicative cultural factors,there are more cultural factors of value concepts and cultural factors of social communication,which meets the goal of "teaching culture in language classes".Based on theories such as "Schema Theory"and "Cognitivism",this paper summarizes the principles of revealing two cultural factors,from the surface to the deep and from the deep to the surface,and discusses the two main cultural factors teaching methods,the communicative method and the contrast method,and then puts forward corresponding suggestions to teachers.Last but not least,this paper innovatively carried out the teaching design of cultural factors in the intermediate Chinese listening course and made a case analysis.This paper has made a small exploration for the teaching research of cultural factors in intermediate Chinese listening,and hopes to provide a certain reference for the layout and optimization of cultural factors in corresponding textbooks.
