Body,Identity,and Politics:Gender Studies In Cyberpunk Movies From A Feminist Perspective

With the vigorous development of biological scientific technology,digital technology and artificial intelligence,With the vigorous development of biological science technology,digital technology and artificial intelligence,mankind has entered the post-human era.The development of technology created the basic conditions for the emergence of cyborgs,which blurred gender boundaries and binary opposing orders.The birth of science fiction movies itself relies on technical support,and cyberpunk,as a subgenre of science fiction movies,has to survive with the help of "machinery",and the cyber-female image that breaks the original gender binary order is of great significance for the study of gender paradigms and feminist theory.This paper will take the female image body in cyberpunk movies as the starting point,combine feminist theory to explore the map and characteristics of female images in cyberpunk movies,and further observe identity gender norms and gender political representations through the physical characteristics displayed.Firstly,the article divides the female images in cyberpunk movies into three types: human-machine integration,gene hybrid,and virtual data.From the perspective of feminism,the female body image of cyborg has the characteristics of "breaking the body boundary" and "blurring the gender boundary".Secondly,taking the external body image of female cyborgs as the starting point,this paper explores its changes and breakthroughs in identity norms on femininity,female social roles,and gender status,and finally summarizes the political power relations constructed by cyborg feminism,and looks forward to the future living space of women from the perspective of Cyborg-feminism.And it has been concluded that although cyborg feminism has broken the traditional binary opposition of feminist development and provided a new direction for the development of feminism,cyborg feminism still faces the dilemma of gender playing in order to cater to the mainstream consciousness of the public and the problem of "expressionists" implanting their own binary gender order relationship to prevent cyborg feminism from collapsing,Women still have a long way to go if they want to achieve ’equality’ through the path of Cyberspace.
