Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Postoperative Swelling After Lower Limb Fracture (Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis Syndrome) With Taohong Siwu Decoction Combined With Wuling Powde

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Taohong Siwu Decoction Combined with Wuling powder in the treatment of postoperative swelling of lower limb fracture and its effect on inflammatory factors and hemorheology.Methods: 60 patients with lower limb fracture hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2021 to December 2021 were selected.The TCM syndrome differentiation was qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.They were randomly divided into two groups with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction,and the treatment group was treated with Taohong Siwu Decoction and Wuling powder.The swelling rate,VAS score,CRP and TNF were compared between the two groups before and after treatment-α And hemorheology.Results: swelling rate,VAS score,CRP and TNF before treatment(the first day after operation)-α And hemorheology had no significant difference;There was no significant difference in the swelling rate between the treatment group and the control group on the third day after treatment(P > 0.05),and the swelling rate in the treatment group on the fifth and seventh day after operation was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05);The VAS score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group on the third,fifth and seventh day after treatment(P < 0.05);After treatment,CRP and TNF in the treatment group-α Compared with the control group,there was no significant difference(P > 0.05);After treatment,the indexes of high shear whole blood viscosity,low shear whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity and ESR in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: Taking Taohong Siwu Decoction and Wuling powder can better improve the swelling,pain and hemorheological indexes after fracture operation than taking Taohong Siwu Decoction,but there is no significant difference in the changes of inflammatory indexes between the two.This study suggests that the method of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis combined with diuresis and detumescence is more effective than the simple method of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in the treatment of postoperative swelling.
