| Purpose:The patients with functional constipation(spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome)were treated with Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment to observe the clinical effect and study its effect on the content of serum SP and VIP.To provide better treatment for patients with functional constipation through The Ointment,and explore the therapeutic mechanism of the Ointment in the treatment of functional constipation.Material and method: From December 2021 to December 2022,66 patients with functional constipation who were diagnosed as spleen and kidney yang deficiency in the outpatient department of our hospital were selected and divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method,33 cases in each group.The control group was given lactulose oral liquid,2 times a day,15 ml each time.The treatment group was given Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment,2 times a day,20 ml each time.The route of administration was oral administration for two weeks.Observe and record the constipation symptom score,TCM symptom score,the content of SP and VIP in serum of patients in each group before and after treatment,and evaluate the clinical efficacy and recurrence rate through statistical analysis.Results:1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,stool trait score,constipation symptom score,symptom score,serum SP content and serum VIP content between the treatment group and the control group.During the trial period,3 cases fell off in the treatment group and 30 cases in the control group,and each group was statistically analyzed.2.After treatment,the comparison of constipation symptom scores show,there was a difference between two groups after treatment(P<0.01),and the treatment group was more effective than the control group(P < 0.01);the comparison of constipation trait scores show,the treatment group and the control group were different from those before treatment(P<0.05).In the comparison of TCM symptom scores,the treatment group was significantly improved in the four symptom scores of ’ abdominal cold pain,like warmth ’,’ pallor ’,’ limbs not warm’,’ clear and long urine ’(P<0.01),while the control group had no significant difference before and after treatment(P>0.05);the serum SP content in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group after treatment,which was statistically significant(P<0.01).The serum VIP content of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group after treatment,which was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0 %,and that of the control group was66.7%.The treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).4.No adverse reactions occurred in the two groups during the test.5.The recurrence rate of the treatment group was 11.11%,and that of the control group was34.78%.The chi-square test showed that the recurrence rate of the two groups was P<0.05,and the recurrence rate of the treatment group was low.Conclusion:1.Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment has a good laxative effect,especially in the ’ abdominal cold pain,like warmth’,’ pallor ’,’ limbs not warm ’,’ clear and long urine ’ four symptoms,and the clinical recurrence rate is low,fully embodies the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in clinical treatment.2.The mechanism of Zhuyang Tongbian Ointment by increasing the content of SP in serum of patients with functional constipation of spleen and kidney yang deficiency type and reducing the content of VIP in serum plays a therapeutic effect,and provides new ideas for exploring the mechanism of TCM diagnosis and treatment of diseases. |
