Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome With Qi And Blood Deficiency Arthralgia By Modified Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoctio

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction plus or minus in the treatment of arthralgia due to deficiency of qi and blood in carpal tunnel syndrome,and explore a safe and more effective treatment.Methods: Collect 50 patients who met the staging of mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome in our hospital from December 2021 to January 2023 and met the Bi syndrome Qi and blood deficiency Bi type.Doll’s clinical case randomization table method was used to randomly divide into control group and treatment group with 25 cases,with a treatment period of 1 month.Among them,3 cases were shed in the control group and 2 cases in the treatment group.The control group was treated with mecobalamin tablets combined with wrist guard,local blocking,and basic treatment such as blood pressure control,blood glucose control,and blood lipids control;The treatment group was treated with Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction plus or minus on the basis of the treatment of the control group.Using statistical methods,the overall therapeutic effect of the two groups of patients was compared,including the score of the functional state of carpal tunnel syndrome(CTS),the electrophysiological results of nerve conduction(median nerve terminal latency value(DML),the amplitude of finger III-median carpal nerve sensory nerve action potential(SNAP),finger III-median carpal nerve conduction velocity(SCV))before and after treatment,and the therapeutic effect was evaluated.Results: The symptoms of the two groups were improved after treatment.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.30%,and that of the control group was 72.72%.After comparison,the final effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After 2weeks of treatment,the improvement of CTS function in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).After one month of treatment,the DML value of median nerve in the treatment group decreased,the amplitude of SNAP wave of finger III-median carpal nerve increased,and the SCV of finger III-median carpal nerve increased faster than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Huangqi Guizhi Wuwu Decoction plus or minus has a clear effect on the treatment of mild and moderate carpal tunnel syndrome of Qi and blood deficiency syndrome,the score of CTS functional state is decreased,and the results of nerve conduction electrophysiology are improved,which can improve the quality of life of patients,and do not enhance clinical adverse reactions.There were no obvious adverse reactions and the safety was good.So it is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
