Purpose:Taking children with functional constipation(syndrome of stagnation of milk and food)as the research object, observe the efficacy and safety of the treatment of children with functional constipation with "hot constipation paste" acupoint application combined with oral Zhishi Daozhi pill, and provide new external treatment ideas and theoretical support for the clinical treatment of children with functional constipation.Material and method:This study was conducted in the pediatric outpatient department of the Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.60 children who met the inclusion criteria were selected.According to the principle of random control, the children were divided into treatment group and control group by using random number table method.30 children in the treatment group were treated with "basic treatment, oral addition and subtraction of Zhishi Daozhi Pill combined with external application of Hemi Paste to Shenque Point",while 30 children in the control group were treated with "basic treatment, oral addition and subtraction of Zhishi Daozhi Pill".Both groups took 7 days as a course of treatment. After 2 courses of treatment, the scores of clinical main symptoms and secondary symptoms of the two groups of children before treatment and after 2 weeks of treatment were recorded, and the relevant data were collected and sorted out and statistically analyzed with SPSS27.0software.Results:1.Clinical efficacy evaluation: After one week of treatment, the total effective rate in the treatment group was 80.0%,while the total effective rate in the control group was66.7%,with no statistically significant difference(p>0.05);After 2 weeks of treatment, the effective rate in the treatment group was 96.7%,and the effective rate in the control group was 90.0%,with a statistically significant difference(p<0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the number of effective cases after 2 weeks of treatment compared to 1 week of treatment(p<0.05).2.Evaluation of TCM syndrome efficacy:(1)After one week of treatment, there was a statistically significant difference in the total score of TCM syndromes between the two groups(p<0.001),while there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05);The total score of main symptoms within and between groups showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05);There was a statistically significant difference in the total score of secondary symptoms within the group(p<0.05),while there was no statistically significant difference between the groups(p>0.05).Compared with the single score of main symptoms and secondary symptoms within the group, there was a statistically significant difference in some symptoms(degree of difficulty in defecation, interval between defecation, stool characteristics, abdominal distension, abdominal pain, lack of appetite, foul breath in the mouth, nausea and vomiting)(p<0.05);There was a statistically significant difference in partial symptoms(degree of difficulty in defecation, interval between defecation, and foul breath in the mouth)between the main symptom and secondary symptom single score groups(p<0.05);The difference in SBM frequency and response rate between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05).(2)After 2 weeks of treatment, the total scores of TCM syndromes, main symptoms, and sub symptoms in the two groups were compared within the group and between the groups, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the single score of main symptoms and secondary symptoms within the group, there was a statistically significant difference in some symptoms(degree of difficulty in defecation, interval between defecation, stool characteristics, abdominal distension and pain, lack of appetite, yellow urine, foul breath in the mouth, nausea and vomiting)(p<0.05);There was a statistically significant difference in partial symptoms(degree of difficulty in defecation, interval between defecation, stool characteristics, lack of appetite, and foul breath in the mouth)between the main symptoms and secondary symptoms(p<0.05);The difference in SBM frequency and response rate between the two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),and compared to one week after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).3.Safety evaluation: there were no adverse reactions in 60 children in the treatment group and the control group. Conclusion:Both the treatment of children with functional constipation(stagnation of milk and food)by acupoint application of hot constipation paste combined with oral administration of Zhishi Daozhi pill and the treatment of this disease by oral administration of pure Zhishi Daozhi pill have definite clinical efficacy, and the efficacy of the combined internal and external treatment group is better. The improvement of the two groups after continuous treatment for 2 weeks is more significant than that of the treatment for 1 week.".The combined internal and external treatment group can effectively improve symptoms such as lack of appetite, foul breath in the mouth, abdominal distension and abdominal pain, yellow urine, nausea and vomiting.Compared with the simple oral treatment of Zhishi Daozhi Pill,it has more significant effects in improving the degree of difficulty in defecation, the interval between defecation, stool characteristics, lack of appetite, foul breath in the mouth, without significant adverse reactions, and has clinical application value.
