Grammar exercises are an effective tool to judge the mastery of grammar.Appropriate,scientific and effective grammar practice can help learners master the grammar content in class,so as to improve classroom efficiency and communicative competence.The grammar exercises of the two textbooks Happy Chinese(Korean versionâ… )and Living Chinese(Grand Paradise versionâ… )have not been studied by scholars.Therefore,this paper will study and compare the similarities and differences of grammar exercises between the two textbooks.The research question of this paper is to study the similarities and differences between Happy Chinese and Living Chinese grammatical items in grammar exercisesin,grammar exercises amount,grammar exercise types,and grammar exercise arrangement.Firstly,this paper clarify the scope of grammar exercises and formulates the statistical standards of grammar items,question quantity,question type and arrangement.Each grammar exercise topic counts the number of questions as a unit.The question types are re-defined according to the real intention expressed by the question types.The evaluation standard of speech skills is based on the ability that can be trained in the topic.Secondly,the data shall be counted and verified for many times according to the unified statistical standards to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the data.Finally,the data were analyzed through Excel tables,using the total number of questions to analyze the number of grammar exercises,the average value to analyze the proportion of certain types of questions in all grammar exercises and the proportion of certain types of questions in each lesson,and the data were converted into bar graphs and line graphs for more intuitive analysis.By collecting,sorting and analyzing the data,this paper draws the following conclusions:In terms of grammar items in grammar exercises: Happy Chinese has a large number of grammar items and a stable number of grammar items in each lesson.In terms of the number of questions in grammar exercises:the practice intensity of Living Chinese is less intensive,and the number of grammar exercises accounts for a high ratio of the total number of questions,and the number of questions fluctuates less and is more stable.In terms of the question types of grammar exercises: the two textbooks have achieved a combination of primary and secondary question types,with a total of 3 question types;Happy Chinese has a large number of question types,and the order of question types is reasonable.In terms of the arrangement of grammar exercises: Happy Chinese is a divided exercise,Living Chinese is a decentralized exercise;the questions in Living Chinese tend to be "speaking",and the number of questions with pictures is more stable,with less fluctuation and color changes.
