Cultural Space Construction And Media Reproduction Of Historical Blocks In Urban Renewal

In the process of urban renewal in China,due to the rich and unique cultural connotation and historical context of historical blocks,the "cultural space construction" with culture as the core value has gradually become the focus of historical and cultural block renewal.As a demonstration name card of the urban renewal of the historical district,Yongqing Square has iterated from the traditional Xiguan community to a historical district bearing the image of the city.General Secretary Xi Jinping left the entrust of "let the city leave memories and let people remember their homesickness" during his visit.Therefore,it is worth paying attention to: how to retain and continue its cultural memory as a "space" in urban renewal?How to balance the continuation of the urban context and the activation of local vitality?How does the relationship between people and space,and between people connect?Through the gradual discussion of the above issues,this paper discusses how Yongqing Square,as a historical block in urban renewal,build a full cultural space,leave the urban image and construct a unique sense of place in the change and renewal.Following the "third space" theory and space ternary dialectics,this paper regards Yongqing Square as the "third space" interwoven,and analyzes the cultural space construction of Yongqing Square from three dimensions of entity space construction,social space narrative and media space reproduction.Research found that,first,in "things" as the main body of the entity space construction,yongqing fang to the whole texture and extension of lingnan architectural symbols,are trying to create and reproduce dead xiguan memory,and through the nostalgic consumption,the introduction of commercial consumption,blocks into urban fast life "urban enclave" and "urban oasis".Second,in the social space narrative with "people" as the main body,people "enter" the space,enrich the cultural significance of space through physical experience and perception,and connect people and space and between people.At the same time,they eliminate the relationship between traditional daily life and space society,and realize the reconstruction of spatial social relationship and daily life in a new sense.Third,media space and real space can be connected through human’s "spatial practice",forming the "third space" of virtual and reality.Specifically,the reproduction of Yongqing Square in the media space originates from people’s spatial imagination and spatial practice,and constantly promotes new imagination and new practice,leaving a corner of yongqing Square in the rich media landscape,and constructing the "digital place sense" of Yongqing Square in the virtual space.Overall,yongqing fang entity space in the material construction level become the premise of yongqing fang culture space construction,and social space is introduced with people’s space practice and social connection,constantly dynamically filling the connotation of yongqing fang culture space,and media space can reproduce,highlight,reconstruct the yongqing fang space image,and constantly affect people’s space practice.Physical space,social space and media space are connected with each other,jointly promoting the continuous operation and dynamic circulation of yongqingfang cultural space.
