Research On The Creation Of "elderly" Picture Books In The Context Of An Aging Societ

At the beginning of the 21 st century,as China entered an aging society,the elderly group gradually became the main body of society.In this environment,the emotional and spiritual needs of the elderly have received widespread attention from society.With the increasingly severe aging of the global population,the reading needs of the elderly are also rapidly increasing.The ’elderly’ picture book is a more indicative picture book derived from adult picture books for the elderly.As a popular reading book in the 21 st century,picture books,with their unique artistic form,warm visuals,and storylines,can provide readers with peace of mind and comfort,thereby alleviating negative emotions such as anxiety.This paper will study the literature and current situation of picture books related to the elderly both domestically and internationally,focusing on analyzing the spiritual,emotional,and reading needs of the elderly,and targeting the target group for picture book creation;The final project design combines in-depth analysis of the target group,existing research results,and social trends to explore new possibilities and create picture books suitable for the elderly to read.
