Research On 3D Asynchronous Whole Weaving Technology And Control System

As a new advanced material, three-dimensional (3-D) braided composites have been developed rapidly in recent years due to its superior performances:high strength splendid rigidity, excellent impact resistance, outstanding temperature resistant and good corrosion resistance.Currently, most of the studies of 3-D braided composites have been focused on braiding process, structure, parameters, composite and performance analysis. Few papers on computer-control of braiding process has been published. In this project, a computer-controlled system based on braiding process control algorithm was designed, which would be applied to 3-D complex shaped overall braiding machine to achieve composite manufacture of process documents, real-time display of braiding process and online detection.In this dissertation, according to the control requirements of 3-D complex shaped overall braiding machine, a motion control system based on "computer+motion control card" was investigated, in which the 3-D braiding process computer-controlled algorithm was established.The movement relationship between chassis of braiding machine and valve was studied and found that the movement of valve can reflect the movement of chassis of braiding machine. Therefore, an indirect detection method for chassis movement through detection of valve state was suggested, in which real-time display of chassis of 3-D complex shaped overall braiding machine and online detection of braiding process were realized.In this dissertation, braiding methods of several common 3-D braided structures were researched. The braided rules of 3-D rectangular braided composites were summarized, and on this basis, the composite manufacture of process documents using 3-D complex shaped overall braiding machine was achieved.
