The paper presents a new method for reservoir performance analysis-the method of large scale system for reservoir performance analysis.Some physical properties in the reservoir including reservoir natures, fluid properties and distribution etc are varying with waterflood development operating . So it is important to recognize these variation processes promptly for formulating oilfield development regulation program. In the traditional reservoir performance analysis, geologic model is set up firstly and analyzed by various math means (e.g. numerical simulation). Though these methods can provide scientific bases for oilfield development decision, a lot of geologic data are anisotropism and changing continuously during the production. It is difficult to get the data timely -> folly and accurately . So there are errors between simulation results and the facts. On the basis of large scale system theory in the paper , oilfield is considered as a complex system consisting of injection -production and intermediate processing . We try to apply the correlation of enormous -. continuous and relatively accurate oil well space production data to feedback the fluid distribution and motion in the reservoir . Four basic models are constructed: (1) The single well production parameter relatively model; (2) The inter-well interference model; (3) Injection and production correlation model; (4) Formation pressure identification model. We can make oilfield additional development policy and get adjustment basis of development plan by combining the four models with other supplementary models.The method was used for analyzing two oilfield blocks which are greatly different in physical properties (Wang Yao area of An Sai oilfield and Bei Er Dong block of Sa Er Tu oilfield), the result showed that it is effective. It is important for centralize guidance of oilfield production.
