The thesis deals with the basis study of steam coal blending and sulfur absorption theory. Index errors of steam coal blending are normal school and not very obvious. Statistical verification on linearity of principal parameters of steam coal blending is applied to analyze the process. A new kind of mathematics formula has been put forward to predict ash melting point of steam coal blending which is more precise in comparison with former mathematics. Sulfur of steam coal blending is linear relation with single coal. Sulfur releasing shows transition characteristic for steam coal blending.Thermodynamics and kinetics study of absorbent such as CaCO3, CaO and Ca(OH)2 is analyzed and shows that the impetus of sulfur adsorbent is powerful. Relation between free energy and temperature is set up and decomposing pressure of calcium sulfate will increase when temperature rises. The sulfur adsorption results could be CaS. Adsorption theory is applied to study kinetics which has the property of first-order reaction kinetics during sulfur adsorption process. The prediction results are precise than other methods. Diffusion characteristic of sulfur dioxide is connected with surface property and particle size of sulfur absorbent. The Knudsen diffusion plays a control role in the process of mass transfer insides holes. Activation energy reduces as particle size of absorbent get smaller. Activation energy of nano-carbonate is less than general calcium carbonate. The microstructure and the characteristic for nano-carbonate shows good speciality in sulfur absorption at low or high temperature. It is very practical to use nano-carbonate as absorbent. Sulfur dioxide is a powerful reducing agent and easy to dissolve in water. Sulfur dioxide can reduce chromium(Cr6+), so it can be used to control chromium pollution.
