In this thesis, the polyamino crosslinking polymeric dyes were proposed. They were prepared by grafting the chromophores onto the reactive polymers (polyvinylamine and polyallylamine). Their structures not only improved fixation of dye, but also prevented the chromophore from colour change during crosslinking dyeing.Polyacrylamide with relatively low polymerization degree was prepared in aqueous solution by use of (NH)4S2O8—NaHSO3. Polyvinylamine with different amination degrees were prepared from polyacrylamide and NaOCl through the Hofmann degradation. Factors that affect the degree of amination, i.e, mass percent of polyacrylamide, the mole ratio of NaOCl to polyacrylamide and NaOH to polyacrylamide were studied.Allylamine was prepared from the ammonolysis of allyl chloride in ethanol. The selectivity of allylamine was remarkably improved when the reaction was carried out in ethanol instead of liquid ammonia, and the catalysis of CuCl was better than KI.Allylamine was prepared from the reaction of hexamethylenetetramine with allyl chloride in ethanol (Delepine method). Allylamine was straightforward synthesized by hexamethylenetetramine with allyl chloride instead of allyl bromide in ethanol rather than in chloroform. This change solved the problem of recycling of chloroform, reduced the steps of operation, and decreased the cost of production.Polyallylmmoninium chloride was synthesized by the monopolymerization of monoallylmmoninium chloride with (NH4)2S2O8/NaHSO3 initiator. The effects of the polymerization temperature, concentration of monomer and the mole ratio of initiator to monomer on monopolymerization of monoallylmmoninium chloride were discussed.Three chlorosulfonyl-containing azo compounds were synthesized by the reactions of the corresponding sodium sulfonate of acid dye and thionyl chloride in benzene in the presence of a catalytic quantity of DMF. And red and blue compounds containing chlorosulfonyl group were synthesized by the reactions of the corresponding Dispersed Red 3B and CuPC and chlorosulfonic acid-thionyl chloride. Their structures were confirmed by IR, 1H NMR and MS spectroscopyFive crosslinking polymeric dyes (3-1b, 3-2b, 3-3b, 3-4b and 3-5b) were synthesized from the prepared chlorosulfonyl-containing compounds and polyvinylamine (Schotten-Baumann reaction). Factors that affect the conversion and ammonolysis of 2-1a, i.e, reaction temperature, concentration of amino groups , solvents and pH value were studied. Two blue crosslinking polymeric dyes were synthesized by use of Reactive Blue X—BR and l-amino-4-bromoanthaquinone-2-sulfonate with polyvinylamine prepared from the...
