In this thesis, a series of macromolecule self-crosslinking dyes were prepared by grafting the chromogens containing dichlorotriazine group on the poly(acrylamide-co-vinylamine). The conditions of the grafting reaction were discussed, and the applications on the dyeing and printing of the dyes were studied in detail.Poly(acrylamide-co-vinylamine) with 72%-75% amino content which was used as main train of the macromolecule self-crosslinking dyes was synthesized by Hofmann reaction of polyacrylamide, the molecular weight of the product was 2000 or so shown by the GPC, and the structure of the product was characterized by FTIR.Three chromogens R, B and Y which contained dichlorotriazine as reactive group were synthesized by diazotization and coupling reaction. Three or four sulfonic acid group were introduced into the chromogens to get excellent water solubility. The maximum wavelength was 510 nm,600 nm,390 nm separately, mass absorption coefficient was 31.1 L*g-1*cm-1, 33.3 L*g-1*cm-1,31.2 L*g-1-cm-1 correspondingly. The structures of the chromogens were characterized by UV-visible spectra and MS.Parameters in the grafting reaction were investigated, including the change rule of the temperature, pH and reaction time. The grafting ratio was relatively proper ranged from 35% to 40%. The UV-visible spectra showed that the maximum wavelength of the macromolecule dyes was 508 run,598 nm,388 nm separately, mass absorption coefficient was 23.9 L*g-1*cm-1, 26.5 L*g-1*cm-1,24.2 L*g-1*cm-1 correspondingly. TLC was also utilized.The applications of the macromolecule self-crosslinking dyes were studied at the same time. On one hand, the synthesized dyes were applied to pad dyeing using one dip one rolling dyeing process, and the fixation could reach up to 91.1%-94.0% without crosslinking agent, 27.1%-32.4% higher than the corresponding chromogens. On the other hand, the synthesized dyes were applied to printing process, the formulas of the paste were determined, and the high fixation of 92.7%-94.3% in the printing process could be achieved, which is 14.7%-19.2% higher than that of the commercial monochlorotriazine reactive dyes.
