Transition metal Polyoxometalate organic coordination polymers are novel organic-iorganic hybrid materials, which have been of great interest because of their diversified structures and potential applications. The self-assemblies for this class of the materials are adopted to achieve purposeful synthesis through selecting the transition metal cations as templating and mukidentate organic ligands and polyoxometalates (POMs) as building blocks based on the principles of molecule design and crystal engineering. In this research, three new organic-inorganic hybrid compounds were hydrothermally synthesized. The reaction of WO3, CoCl2 and 4,4'-bipyridine at 170℃ yields compound [Co2(bpy)6(W6O19)2] ( I ) ; the reaction of NH4VO3, CoCl2 and 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane(bpp) at 120℃ produces [Co(bpp)2]2(V4O12)( II), and the reaction of NH4VO3, MnCl2 and 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane(bpp) at 140 ℃ leads to (H2bpp)3...
