The chemistry of transition metal vanadium is a specially active research field. The research of inorganic-organic hybrid polyoxovanadate has attracted much attention due to their redox, electronic, catalytic or magnetic properties. The synthesis, components, structures, and properties of these inorganic-organic hybrid polyoxovanadate are reviewed in this paper. Five bimetallic hybrid complexes and a six cappedĪ±-keggin-type polyvanadate are prepared by mild hydrothermal technique and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction.1. Two Ag-V complexes VO2(C7H3O4N)Ag(C10H8N2)H2O(1) and VO2(C7H3O4N)Ag(2) are synthesized. V atoms are both coordinated to pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid ligand, and connected with Ag atoms via oxo and double-bond oxygen atoms of carboxyl. 1 formed a 1D structure and 2 formed a 2D structure.2. Two Cu-V complexes {Cu(phen)H2O}{Cu(phen)}V4O7(OH)(PO4)3H2O(3) and {Cu(phen)}2(VO2)3(OH)(PO4)2(4) are synthesized. The two complexes are both 2D structures. There is a V4O4 cubic cluster and left and right helical chains in complex 3. The V-O-P chains are connected via Cu-phen units to form a 2D structure with 10-membered rings in complex 4.3. A Mn-V complex [C4H12N2]2MnII(H2O)2 (VVO2)2(VIV2O2)(PO4)4(H2O)2(5) is synthesized. Complex 5 contains channels in three dimensions in which diprotonated piperazine ions and water molecules reside.4. A six cappedĪ±-keggin-type polyvanadate (H3dien)2[(VO)6(V12O36)(PO4)](PO4)(6) is synthesized. Triprotonated triethylenediamine acted as compensating cations.
