Modeling And Control Of Oil Distillation Process

Oil distillation process is the first working procedure of the refinery and petrifaction enterprise. Production technology and control methods for oil distillation process are deeply studied because of its importance.This thesis, which based on the predecessor's research, combines the control theory and engineering practice together by using a true crude oil distillation tower as the object From the practice of modeling, controlling and optimizing on the spot, this thesis studies the application of thc control theory and designs the control and optimization software for the large scale distillation process.The research domains related to this thesis including: Summarization of the methods of the modeling, advanced control and optimization for distillation process. System modeling is studied. The methods that how to get on-line quality information is discussed on different viewpoints. One of the methods, which based on the side-stream dividing theory, analyses the principle of distillation tower and provides a way to calculate the load in a complex tower. The other method, based on the system identification, gets the quality information through long-time spot data collection and analysis of the datum. Control project of furnace system is discussed. An advanced control algorithm suitable for industrial spot is raised. At the same time, a kind of control strategy that based on differential coefficient is bring forward to deal with powerful interaction problem in flow temperature of the furnace system. Side-stream quality control of crude oil distillation tower is studied. A newcontrol strategy is proposed on the basis of multi-side-stream couplingcharacteristic of crude tower.
