Study Of Urban Complex Environmental Carrying Capacity

This paper studies the subject of urban environmental complex carrying capacity to environmental pollution. Firstly, the basis of analysis of China urban environmental pollution, the concept of urban environmental complex carrying capacity is interpreted, including its originality, evolvement, and applications. Theoretical works focus on urban biology system according to the fundamental theory of biology. The feature, function and original drive forces have been illustrated deeply after the study on basic problem, development tendency and new problem of urban biology system. Secondly, the concept of urban environmental complex carrying capacity is and its meaning, properties and main factor is put forward. Thirdly, an estimation model, a set of criterions for assessment and a method have been established in accordance with environment capacity mainly, which is pragmatic nation-wide. Fourthly, the research outcome is applied into Xining city, Qinghai province. Main pollution factors on urban environment and comprehensive situations of environmental quality have been appreciated after the wide investigation on environment economy and society, especially, on the analysis of energy, mineral resource, pollution source and their history. The quality and quantity feature of important resource elements have been clarified. The main problems to city development have been identified, too. Fifthly, the capacities of air, surface water and soil have been measured by means of many models. At the same time, the present situation of air, surface water, soil and environment carrying capacity have been calculated with the help of environment complex environment carrying capacity models. The harmony between environment and people of Xining city has also been estimated in the terms of coordinate coefficient models. Finally, the research of urban environmental complex capacity has been combined with urban concern of biology safety. Considering the major elements that in the way of environmental protection, renewable resources and sustainable development of Xining city, environmental countermeasure have been put forward in order to enhance urban environmental complex capacity.
