As the mining depth of the strip mine ceaselessly increases, the mining area periphery building have formed a lot of high and steep side slope. Wether the side slope is stable or not is related to not only the safety of the mine production but also the stability of the building in the peripheral mining area. On the basis of mining condition of the West strip mine of Fushun, adopting various methods such as theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, locale observation and the project administration, this thesis discusses the mechanism about strip mine side slope excavated the distortion subsidence and proposes the quantitatively forecasting method and the control method of slope deformation. The main research results of this thesis are as follow:(1)The mechanism about stripped deformation and creep deformation of the high-steep rock mass slope are discussed in strip mine, and the constitutive relation of high-steep rock mass slope in the condition of strip mining is proposed. The rock's rheological property, rock mass structure's rheological property and weak interlayer is considered as the main reasons for surface deformation.(2)On the basis of the mechanism about stripped deformation and creep deformation of the high-steep rock mass slope, numerical simulation model of stripped slope is constructed. The surface settlement and movement of stripped slope is forecasted quantitatively by FLAC numerical simulation.(3)The surface settlement is a very complicated mechanical space-time process and the relation of influence factors is nonlinearity in strip mining, so a method to quantitatively forecast surface settlement in the basis of support vectors machine theory is proposed.(4)A Time Series SVM model which is used to forecast the settlement high-steep rock mass slope is constructed and the core function parameterσand punishment coefficient C is found using Genetic Algorithm.(5)The method of roof bolt anchor and slip casing is proposed which is applied in controlling surface and building toft settlement. The mechanism and model of anchor studied. The mechanism of slip casing and parameter choice is studied. The two method is very practical for controlling the settlement high-steep rock mass slope. (6)On basis of mining condition about the Fushun West Strip Mine, the settlement deformation mechanism on-site is mainly investigated, the value about settlement is forecasted quantitatively by the use of SVM model. The five deformation sensitivity region is comprehensively controlled using slip casing method and the good effect is gotten.
