Research On Mechanism Of Action And Layout Planning Theory Of International Inland Port

As a logistics node located in the inland, with the coastal port or bundary port functions, International Inland Port plays an ipmprtant role in promoting ecomomic development in inland areas and enhancing the competitiveness in coastal ports. However, as a new thing, the research on it is still weak, so current theories can't guide the operation of the international land port very much. At the same time, as the construction and planning of the international inland port is carried out in many cities, the nationwide layout of the international inland port is on confusion, so the research on mechanism and layout of the international inland port has important practical significance. Based on those theories of system science, integration theory, synergetic, and the modern logistics and supply chain management theories, the paper made an in-depth research on mechanism and layout of the international inland port. This research work is divided into three parts:basic research, Mechanism and layout planning study.The basic research includes three aspects:one is to dissect the content of the international inland port, define the concept of it; next analyze the characteristics of it; last is to analyze the influence of building an international land port on the inland cities, coastal ports, carriers, shippers and transport systems.The mechanism research includes the formation mechanism and the evolution mechanism. Based on the summary of the development in the word of the international inland port, the formation mechanism of the international inland port is discussed. Considing of the practice of the international inland port, the formation causes are innovativly revealed, forming channels are propsed, the interaction mechanism within the parties of the international inland port are analyzed. Secondly, the evolution mechanism of the international inland port is discussed. According to ecological theory, combined with the practice of the international inland port, the ecological characteristics are discusses of the international inland port, the evolution path of the international inland port are presented, the characteristics of each stage are analyzed. By constructing the evolution model, the dynamic evolution process of the international land port is revealed, the dynamic evolution mechanism of the international land port are established. The study of layout planning includes three aspects:firstly, the study of layout planning is discussed. In this paper, the index system of layout planning is built, the space layout of the international land port is studied using three typical clustering methods inchuding hierarchical clustering method, transitive closure clustering and fuzzy C-means clustering method, and the effectiveness of three methods were compared, secondly, Based on the characteristics and properties of the international inland port, a site model and a radiation scope model of it are built, and the radiation scope of the international inland port is calculated in case of Xi'an International Port District; Thirdly, the basic functions and extended functions of the international inland port are analyzed, the main business model are discussed, and the functions of different types of international inland ports are studied.
