With the development of economic globalization and industryinternationalization, competitions among the different enterpri ses have become thecomparisons of their core competitiveness. Airlines are giving up the maintenancemodule to various degrees to improve the core competitiveness. The market ofAircraft engine maintenance has a large space of ascension and commercial val uewhen its market demand exceeds supply. In this case, the A group decided to set up Ncompany which mainly manage aircraft engine maintenance business.The purpose of this paper is to make a decision on the plant site selection, thelayout design and evaluation of N company. The optimal factory address was selectedthrough the LEED-NC sustainable sites and the analytic hierarchy process. Layoutplanning (SLP) and detailed layout were made by the system layout technology. Anevaluation layout system was established by the fuzzy mathematical evaluationmethod and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP). At last, the optimal layout wasselected which would promote the construction process of N company.The main research work is as follows:(1) A brief introduction of products in N company was made, through the analysisof the aero engine maintenance process and maintenance process, the unit of work andarrangement were determined, and through a lot of research and market forecast, theplant scale was concluded, the unit of work area was calculated, the shape of the unitof work was determined.(2) The factors affecting the location of the N company were enumerated throughthe mind mapping method. In this paper, we use the5W1H method and ECRSprinciple to filter and translate into indicators. Observation was carried out on theprimary address field; evaluation system was established by the LEED-NC, analytichierarchy process (AHP); the weight and the dominance were designed by the form ofquestionnaire. Eventually we made comparison on three primary addresses in the formof numerical, and identified a primary address as the construction of the factory.(3) We collected and settled the logistic data of the N company, made analysis inthe form of from-to matrix and correlation diagram; we got the logistics elements thataffect on the non-logistic elements of two relations between the two operation units inquestionnaire way, then analyzed non-logistic elements; line diagram and block diagram were drawn through applying the SLP technology, then three sets of detailedlayout plan were drawn.(4) The evaluative factors of the layout were put forward through the mindmapping, the nature and initial election factors were determined by5W1H, then thefactors were selected by principal component analysis (PCA). Those factors weretransformed into the typical and representative evaluation index by the principalcomponent operations. Then the weights of index were designed, the evaluationsystem was established by the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the valueof evaluation was got by questionnaire. At last, three sets of solution were comparedin the form of numerical value, and the optimal solution was concluded and carriedout.
