Research On Theory And Method Of Networked Manufacturing

To make full use of the chance brought by the network technology for the manufacturing industry in our country, the theory and method for networked manufacturing is systematically studied in the dissertation combined with the Nation 863 Project in the field of CIMS whose title is "study on the methodology of CIMS based on the Internet/Intranet". The further research is made on some theories and methods of them. The study on the networked manufacturing in the small-medium enterprises is deeply and systematically made from both the macro and the micro angle so as to promote the development of networked manufacturing in manufacturing enterprises, especially in the small-medium ones.Based on the analysis of present status of manufacturing industry in our country and impact of network technology on manufacturing industry, the significance of the research subject is expounded. The present status of study on networked manufacturing is analyzed and the main study contents and the structure of treatise are summarizedOn the basis of analysis and study on the background and characteristics of networked manufacturing, the concept of networked manufacturing paradigm is presented. The chance and challenge of enterprises brought by the networked manufacturing paradigm are analyzed and the three-tier basic architecture of theory and method on the networked manufacturing is presented.The merits of networked manufacturing are analyzed from the view of economics.
