The research of internal combustion engine on the heat transfer and thermal loading is of great importance. In addition,the simulation of the dynamic thermal loading and malfunction of the internal combustion engine is a completely new researching task. This thesis is on the basis of the research of diesel engine type 4135 etc,and the complete and systematic numerical modeling and malfunction simulation for thermal loading. It research on the thermal loading of internal combustion engine based on the virtual malfunction simulation,which is of pioneering significance. For the first time,It puts forward a conception of .thermal dynamic simulation and sets up a supposed analytical theory for scuffing failure and cylinder scoring of piston assembly and cylinder liner. That is followed with the simulation of scuffing failure and cylinder scoring of internal combustion engine under the condition of stopping cooling water supply and over loading. This achievement creatively improves the traditional research on the problem of cylinder scoring which is conducted mainly by experiment and experience to a new step of numerical simulation . This method and the result from this thesis explore a new field in the research and it is instructive to the future work. Also a special diagnosis system for the cylinder scoring malfunction of internal combustion engine has been briefly set up. It realizes the numerical simulation of bi-dimensioned and tri-dimensioned cycling instantaneous temperature field for the diesel engine type 4135 and the simulation animated demonstration of the thermal deformation and cylinder scoring malfunction. This thesis consists of eight chapters as the following.In chapter 1,The current research situation and development of the heat transfer and the thermal loading is retrospective firstly. Then the current situation and development of the numerical simulation research of the internal combustion engine heated additionally component have been concluded. Then the cylinder scoring malfunction of internal combustion engine is introduced briefly. It refers to the main content of this thesis,and the researching significance and purpose are indicated.In chapter 2,The partial differential equations of heat transfer and the basic equations of heat elasticity theory as well as the solution with the finite element method have been explained. Furthermore,the principle and nature of periodic instantaneous temperature field disturbance and permeation have been discussed with several cases of various types to examine the speed of heat transfer and permeation and damping of temperature wave.In chapter 3,It systematically analyzes the bi-dimensioned instantaneous temperature range state of piston,cylinder liner and piston rings when diesel engine type 4135 is considered under the normal friction heat. Instantaneous temperature field of piston rings and oil film,seldom mentioned by previous researchers ,has been concluded. It also sets up a cycling instantaneous heat transferring simulating model of tri-dimensioned coupling system of piston assembly and cylinder liner,and induces the thin oil film between piston assembly and cylinder liner and reticulates it. The model advances a great lot over the previous researches and approaches closer to the real case. At last,the coupling system of the cycling instantaneous temperature field of piston assembly and cylinder liner of diesel engine type 4135 is formed. What's more important,It induces the temperature field at the supports piston pin,seldom mentioned before,esp. the circumference distribution of temperature of piston and cylinder liner.In chapter 4,For the first time,in the way of virtual malfunction simulation,cooling water of diesel engine type 4135 has been simulated under the stopping water supply malfunction. And the analysis and discussion has been taken on the result of transient temperature curve of the simulation.
