Along with the development of nation economy, the engineering constructionscope enlarges increasingly, and a large number of new building structure andindividualization buildings have constantly appeared. The great change of means andmethod for the building construction has also occurred at the same time. Theformerly construction method that gives first place to experience looks not adaptable.The demonstration and a large number of the complicated calculation and checkingcomputations on the construction scheme need to use effective analysis means, andin some special projects, the careful scheme demonstration and the checkingcomputations need in the tender stage. All these things will influence rationality andsafety of scheme. This thesis analyzed the present situation of home and abroad virtual realitytechnical research work, using the research and practice experience of virtual realitytechnology at manufacturing industry for reference, combining the engineeringapplication study in the typical engineering of steel structure, and the arduousexploration of the study and application of VR technology for in the steel structureengineering construction has been carried on. The major achievements that this textas follows: (1) Approached the possibility that the virtual reality technology uses in thebuilding industry, by way of TFV theory of construction industry provides theorybasis and enforce method that advanced technology and theory model of otherindustry, especially manufactoryindustryused in construction industry. (2) Combining the requirement that VR technology uses in the constructionindustry, try to construct theory system of virtual construction, researched anddiscussed the definition of virtual construction, key and main technology of it, all theefforts have important theoretical and practical meaning for the VR technologydevelopment, making perfect and practice. (3) Initiated the master-control style design model of steel structureconstruction scheme which based on the VR construction platform. Provided theorybasis and operating program for the virtual simulation to the steel structureconstruction scheme. (4) Applying the theory put forward in the paper, using the virtual construction IV英文摘要technology on the steel structure construction of the Zhenda commerce square ofShanghai in the internal trial for the first time. (6) In the new BaiYun airport hangar steel structure project of Guangzhou,virtual construction is analyzed to apply for the whole-lifting construction of thedissymmetrical steel roof truss, has ensured the safety and reliability of liftingprocedure. at the same time, Having formed the perfect complete set of technologywhich is a innovation of steel structure construction technology. (7) Combining the project practice, applying the virtual construction technologyin deepening the working drawing of steel structure and electing the constructionscheme, solving the general technology difficult problem in the steel structureconstruction, and has possessed widely application and promotion value.
