The research process of this paper is combined with the development of a certain long-range rocket gun weapon system. The long-range rocket gun weapon system, which is demanded to have high reliability, is one of the important equipments in domestic artillery area. In this thesis, equipment system engineering theory is used as the study guidance, and the goal of this paper is to improve the RMS (reliability, maintainability and supportability) level of the whole weapon system, satisfy army operational requirement and reduce total life period costs. According to the functionalrequirements, working mode and environmental particularity of the long-range rocket gun weapon system, this paper synthetically analyzes the theories, technologies and methods of the equipment reliability, using multi-subject knowledge from various directions and multiple levels. For the engineering application, in view of the structural and technical characteristics of the long-range rocket gun weapon system, this study analyzes the requirement of the system reliability data fully and finely, confirms the direction and emphasis of reliability research clearly, and constructs the reliability control model of the long-rang rocket gun weapon system based on parallel engineering theory. On the basis of fault diagnosis theory and H reliability control design method, this paper designs and analyzes the reliability of servo system, and also synthetically analyzes the connotation and extension, influence factors, estimating methods and index system of the mechanism movement reliability, constructs the MAX-PR estimating criterion and simulation model of the mechanism movement reliability. Aiming at the reliability problems in the elevation-balancing machine, traversing machine and self-filling equipment, this paper completes the parameter optimization design and simulation research for movement reliability. The research analyzes the major factors affecting software reliability of weapon system, combining with working content, requirement and quality changing rule during each period of weapon system software life cycle, the design methods and testing or evaluating models to improve software reliability of weapon system are researched and analyzed in this paper. On the basis of analyzing forecast model of current software reliability synthetically, reliability analysis and evaluation for the control software of servo system, and for the operating and aiming calculation software of fire control system of long-range rocket gun system are also carried out. Theoretically analyzing and designing the reliability qualification tests for the long-range rocket gun weapon system are conducted in this paper, and the correlative results of reliability tests during the development of the weapon system are counted and researched synthetically. At last, fusing the modern information theory and technology, probability theory, random process theory and mathematics logic theory etc., synthetically applying various reliability information in each subsystem or unit of the long-range rocket gun system, this paper systematically evaluates the reliability of long-range rocket gun system, which provides quantitative reference for design finalization, production and application, and researching equipment reliability growth ofthe weapon system.
