In this thesis, equipment system engineering theory was used as the study guidance, and the goal of this paper was to improve the RMS (reliability, maintainability and supportability) level of the weapon system reliability of one type missile, satisfy army operational requirement and reduce costs in the whole life period. According to the functional requirements working mode and environmental particularity of the type missile weapon system, this paper synthetically analyzed the theories, technologies and methods of the equipment reliability, using multi-subject knowledge from various directions and multiple levels. This paper had so strongly military demand and practical background, so has great military value.The paper main content included: The first, how to choice and establish the parameter and the target of the reliability about the MWS (missile weapon system) were discussed. The second, mission reliability model, the influence of fault model, the analysis of lethality and the foundation of fault tree were analyzed comprehensively. The third, this thesis evaluated and predicted the reliability of MWS with the actual situation of producing and using, and offered the theoretical foundation for them. The last, the paper predicted the storage life and did a finite element analysis of the deformation effect during ageing process about the solid propellant, offering reference for MWS's storage.The paper obtained some practical value conclusions and achievements through studying on the weapon system reliability of one type missile, and made the beneficial exploration for the reliability engineering of MWS's consummation and development.
