With the rapid improvement in the athletic techniques, the speedy increase in the intensity of international competition and the rapid development of the worldwide science and technology, The battle of the gold medal of the modern Olympic games, Substantially, is the competition of the scientific and technical strength of various countries, it has been widely and clearly recognized that the expected training effect is unattainable and winning the golden meddle of Olympic Games in the violent present-day is unattainable, unless the research results of modern science and technology are widely applied to and guide the training. With the rapid development of sports and speedy improvement in the athletic techniques, the speedy increase in the intensity of international competition, it is more and more difficult to gain gold medal. Experimental and additional model of training is not satisfactory for the need of the athletic training practice. Scientific and modern training system is great attributed to enhance the athletic achievement. The scientific evaluation for the performance of athletic equipment, exercise amount, exercise intensity and exercise capacity of sportsman remains a difficult problem which is badly needed solving.The rowing is one of the events of the Olympic Games. For increasing the achievement of the match of the rowing, in developed countries, on one hand, they study the fluid dynamic performances of the rowing by means of modern hydrodynamics, determine the resistance of the rowing with the theoretical and numerical method and improve the fast performance of the rowing through decreasing the resistance by modifying the shape of the rowing; on the other hand, researchersuse modern high-Tech in training athletes, in order to increasing their physiological function and technique to the maximum extent. For several years, researcher and coach pay attention to researcher about the way of examining and evaluating athletic load and body status. The maximum of athletic load is very important part of scientific training. Scientific evaluation of exercise load is a difficult problem which is badly needed solving. Presently, it is very low about system and standardization of physiological and biochemical supervise of supervise and the way of evaluation of civil rowing athletic performance. Many physiological and biochemical multi-indices limited by manner of sampling and testing instrument, is not difficult to apply and popularize in practice. Contemporary, the unification between testing way and standardization affects intercommunion and application of scientific research.This thesis studies the hydrodynamic performance of rowing with the theoretical and numerical method. This thesis computers the viscous resistance of rowing with (1+k) way, Because of the thin and long body of the rowing, it is likely that we can fast acquire the wavemaking resistance when using the Michell integral formula based on the hypothesis of the thin ship in calculating the wavemaking resistance, then the total resistance of rowing is gained. This thesis attempts to computer the total resistance of different displacements under different speed and gain the rule of resistance of rowing with different speed which is based to research shallow affect and optimize the design. This thesis tends to determine the hydrodynamic performance of rowing the double rowing made by the famous Empacher enterprise of German, a certain double rowing and a certain single rowing, respectively. In order to study the hydrodynamic performance of rowing, the experiment of a certain double rowing and a certain single rowing is finished. Contemporary, the theoretical result and experimental result is contrasted and some signification conclusions are gained.Based on the principle of application for practice and science, this thesis towards the Rowing which is belongs to the event of cyclic power endurance and mainly depends on body capacity.
