Combined with the national scientific research project, this paper studies theoretically and deeply the kinetic problem of Gatling weapon system with inner energy source based on the Laval jet-driving mode. Through the research, the corresponding kinetic numerical physics models of Gatling weapon are established. Based on the different research purposes, a numerical model of similar one-dimension unsteady flow concerning barrel with friction, heat dispersion and changing section and another of non-viscous tow-dimension symmetric unsteady flow are established respectively corresponding to the driving device of the jet. By utilizing the Godunov's discret analysis method, the kinetic problem of the Gatling weapon is solved together with the gasflow problem of the jet, which reflects relatively truly the objective physical reality. The results of the dynamic simulation agreed satisfactorily with that of the shooting test of a certain Gatling weapon under development.By analyzing the influences of the various structure parameters on the driving moment and recoil effect, this paper establishes a kinetic and multi-objective optimization model of Gatling weapon with 17 structure parameters. The optimizing results indicate that the optimization parameters reflect the dynamic characteristics of the Gatling weapon's kinetic parameter change quite well.By analyzing the mechanism of the jet driving system of the Gatling weapon, this paper improves the design of the Laval jet, which solves effectively the problem of transversal thrust caused by the reflecting effect of the former Laval jet on gun/cannon barrel group, and improves the shoot precision of the Gatling weapons. The tests indicate good effects.By analyzing the assembly mode's kinetic problem of Gatling Weapon with coupling double assembly, a kinetic model of Gatling Weapon with coupling double assembly is established. The simulation results indicate that the coupling double assembly mode profits the angular velocity's stability of Gtaling weapon's gun/cannon barrel, and especially profits the deep depression of the recoil.This paper analyzes thoroughly and systematically the structure principle, design method and dynamic experimental process of the 3/6-barrel Gtaling weapon with such kind of driving mode. The whole process from structure design and trial-manufacture to shooting test with a running fire of the 3/6-barrel 14.5mm Gtaling weapon is completed and a rather satisfactory effect is achieved.The kinetic numerical model and multi-objective optimization model of Gatling weapon established in this paper provide valuable theoretic direction for the theoretic research and product development, which will conduce to the development level's improvement and design theory's perfection of the Gatling weapon in China.
