A Study On The Eco-sustainable Campus Model Of Chinese Colleges And Universities

This paper is going via studying inland and abroad different history periods' campus models to construct the new campus model to fitting the needs of today education idea of Chinese colleges and universities. Today the science-tech and economic international competition is, in the final analysis, the talent competition, education competition. So, first to develop education especially high education has been the national strategic policy of China.By studying Chinese and abroad every historic periods' campus models the author discovered that the campus model must fit the needs of the education idea at then.Affected by the integrative economy, science-tech and education idea of the world, facing the times of information and knowledge-economy, forced by the needs of rapid development of inland economy and the whole people's thirst for increasing knowledge the high education idea of china has been greatly changed: from educating single professional experts turning to educating combinative talents of erudition and speciality, with the cretive thought of leaping over the general progress, from conventional enclosed education turning to open education facing socialization and internationalization, from separation among education, researches and production turning to combination of the three, from separation among different subjects turning to comprehensive development of them, and from lacking in eco-environment protection concept turning to paying attention to it and sustainable development conception.What a campus model can fit the needs of the above today education idea ? The author opines that eco-sustainable campus model should be the optimal selection.
