In order to study some problems of roller compacted concrete dam (RCCD), such as the characteristic of gradual change of mechanical parameters, stress-seepage coupling, monitoring models, comprehensive appraisal of interface and monitoring index of displacement, stiffness partition methods, series-wound and shunt-wound models, equivalent model of seepage, fuzzy comprehensive appraisal, fuzzy finite element method and random element method are presented. The main contents are as follows.(1) Gradual change rule and analysis models of elastic modulus and permeability coefficient are studied according to construction, compaction mechanism, experiment results, stiffness partition methods and theory of equivalent seepage.(2) Viscoelastic model and seepage model are offered according to the gradually changed parameters and some gradually changed parameters are back analyzed by these models.(3) According to the layer property of RCCD, mixed-models of displacement and seepage, to separate body vector and layer vector, are studied by finite element method and regression analysis by taking horizontal elastic model and vertical permeability coefficient as body's elastic and permeability coefficient. Lastly, Stress-seepage coupling model is presented under parameters changing.(4) Index system of layer property and fuzzy comprehensive appraisal model for comprehensive appraisal of layers are offered according to the ratio of body vector and layer vector in monitoring models, anisotropy degree of RCCD and statistical results of experiments.(5) Standards and methods for ensuring monitoring index of displacement of gravity dam and arch dam are offered according to there failure process. Lastly, fuzzy monitoring index and random monitoring index of displacement are presented for the unascertainable boundary conditions and mechanics parameters.
