The model high-rise building are developing in diverse functions and synthetic usages. The upper levels storeys lay dwelling, hotel, and lower levels storeys lay shop, restaurant and public place of entertainment in the building. So the upper levels storeys require middle and short spans,and the lower levels storeys require long span. In the upper level storeys some structural walls can be laid. In the lower levels storey structural walls are limited to lay. The aseismatic methods must be taken in designing this sort of high-rise building structure.The techniques of structural control supply a method of decreasing seimic responses enhancing aseismatic abilities of high-rise building . Theoretically, the structural passive control has some limits, and structure active control has great advantages in improving structure safety and design.But mere is a great difficulty in applying techniques of active control to engineerings in large scale so far. The techniques of passive control can make buildings more safe and more comfortable without increasing price of constructure or with a little increasing price, so it has a good perspective of applying in engineering.The soil-structure interaction is important for high-rise building. There is an error if ignoring the affections of soil-structure interaction.
