Application of integrated computer program in the design of building structures has brought both pros and cons.On one hand,the structure principle,design standard and algorithm are all covered in the integrated calculation program,so the threshold of structure design is lower,the design efficiency is greatly improved and the calculation accuracy is more accurate;on the other hand,because of its convenience,the importance of the concept of structure is neglected,which leads to the reduce of the overall design level,the consciousness to optimize the structure is not strong enough,and just blindly pursuing to meet the requirements of standard.There are many unreasonable behavior,such as mechanically imitate the standard or grasp the concept wrongly or lack the ability to calculate without computer program or do not have the ability to make further judgement of calculation results,of which the fundamental reason is not grasping the concept of structure clearly.This article is to explore the application of conceptual design optimization method in the structural design of high-rise buildings,and the main work of this paper includes:1.Theoretical analysis.Analysis the characteristics of the high-rise building structure design,the challenges of structure design,the index of structural optimization and the relationship of each index,and explains the basic theory of structural optimization and the concept of the simplified estimation method.In this stage,the main purpose is to erect the basic theory frame of structural optimization,and form the idea of optimization method.2.Case analysis.Taking a high-rise building as an example,after the structural layout optimization and structure and component section size optimization,we can save concrete materials 450m3(3.4%)and save 706.5 tons of steel bars(33.6%),which means saving material cost about 3.66 million RMB(25.3%).The main purpose of this stage is to express the application of the concept of optimization methods in engineering more specifically,and prove its validity.
