In the manufacture network, where enterprises organized according to product life cycle spanning design, manufacture and logistics processes etc, the collaboration quality management across all the enterprises becomes one of important issues of manufacturing network operation. To this issue, the main results of the dissertation are briefly summarized as follows:1. Based on the insight of the Supply Chain Management, Lean Production, Networked Manufacturing and Virtual Enterprise, the concept and characteristics of manufacturing network are summarized. The state-of-art related to quality management theoretical and practicing works in the manufacturing network is researched. After that, some main problems to be solved for dynamic and complex networked quality management are proposed. 2. Based on extensive literature review and investigation, the lifecycle model of manufacturing network is proposed. The model covers all participant enterprises within the manufacturing network, and the whole lifecycle of manufacturing network is from planning, constructing to operating. By systematically summarizing the contents, methods, tools and means of quality management in corresponding lifecycle stages, a complete set of toolkit for quality management in manufacturing network is proposed.3. Based on the concept and theory of quality chain and SOV (Stream Of Variance), this thesis establishes the quality transferring model of manufacturing network, which is a mathematical approach for analyzing the forming process of product quality. Furthermore, multilevel quality transferring sensitivities models are developed, which provide an efficient method for identification of critical quality parts and analysis of the different variance sources in the network.4. The business process re-engineering technology for management quality assurance processes cross the manufacturing network is pointed out. The method enables the reconfiguration of the quality process extend to resource, organization, information and function perspectives and solve the problem of isolation between modeling methodology and implementation. Syntax and semantic of Generalized Stochastic Petri Net (GSPN) are defined to transform process models, which provide the mathematical basis of analysis technique. The executable model ensures that it can be simulated or numerically analyzed, aiming at an evaluation of the performance. These rules avoid the definition of quality process resulting in runtime errors, such as deadlock, live locks and dead tasks before the workflow engine loads the quality assurance process.5. With the general algorithm of GSPN, this thesis presents a simulating approach for the quality assurance process, where key performance indexes of the quality assurance process can be analyzed quantitatively. The indexes evaluate the rationality of quality assurance for reconfiguration and scheduling in lean manufacturing, which is an efficient method for rapid re-organization and optimization of manufacturing...
