Along with the rapid development of global competition and informationization of manufacturing industry, the higher requirements for the quality management have been presented in enterprises. Total Quality Management has been accepted and emphasized by more and more enterprises. Meanwhile, they extend the quality management from traditional quality information management to integrated management of all affecting factors during the total life cycle of products. Total monitoring for manufacturing process can help the enterprises harmonize and control the quality activities in each step. Thus, resources can be fully utilized to monitor, control and guarantee the products and working quality.Based on a cooperative project with a bearing company, this dissertation is titled as "Study on Total Quality Monitoring System for Bearing Manufacturing Process", discusses the background, framework, technology and implementation of quality monitoring, R&D the supportive software system and its application.The whole dissertation is divided into six chapters:Chapter one begins with the overview of Quality Information System. After illustrating the functions and significance of QIS, the research status and developing trend of CAQ and IQS are discussed and analyzed. Then introduce the necessity of the research on Total Quality Monitoring System. At last, discuss the aim and main content of this dissertation.Chapter two firstly describes the process of quality monitoring and constructs its process model on the basis of workflow theory. Secondly, it is studied and analyzed the functional model and hierarchical structure of quality monitoring in the workshop. And the integration between quality and process monitoring is studied for meeting the totality demand.In chapter three, it is firstly analyzed the key process and quality characteristics of bearing manufacturing to confirm the monitored objects and points. Then introduce the total model framework of system. Study and design the organization, function and information models of system based on the framework. And it is researched the function configuration and key modules in this chapter.Chapter four firstly studies encoding and identification method for batch and quality traceability. An encoding system for quality monitoring is established. Secondly. research and realize the dynamic function configuration according to the organization model and RBAC theory. Thirdly, it is developed the interaction of quality information based on OPC technology.Chapter five begins with the introduction of development environment. Then design the database of the system with SQLServer. In the end, introduce the development and application of the system.Finally, chapter six makes a conclusion of the whole dissertation and puts forward the future research in this field.
