Interaction/suitability

With the coming of the Peking 2008 Olympic Games, China has been in theclimactic period of the building of large stadium & gymnasium. Sports have changedfrom unsophisticated competition and body exercise to industrialization, and the largestadium & gymnasium that the size is larger, the standard is higher and the function ismore complex, has closer relationship with the city as it favors realizing the citymanagement and improving the standard of living. However the large stadium &gymnasium has many problems, for example, of leave unused after games, inefficient,and the damage to environment.Through the analysis of the character of the large sports place and the cases ofcities, the author thinks that the key contradiction is the disharmony between the largesports place and the city. So the study object of the thesis is the relationship betweenthe large sports place and city, then the thesis emphasizes the relationship ofinteraction and suitability between the large sports place and the city, and finallybring forward the principle of planning of the incorporation of interaction andsuitability.The thesis includes three parts that are upper part, middle part and last part. Theupper part that consists of two charters that are introduction and the analysis of thecharacter of the large sports place discusses the large sports place in view of city, andexpatiates on the necessity, importance, frame and the character of large sports place.The middle is the main part that consists of three charters that are the analysis of sixcity cases, the interaction relationship and the suitability relationship between thelarge sports place and city. The last is the conclusion part that discusses the type ofrelationship between the large sports place and city, and brings forward the principleand the evaluation system of the incorporation of interaction and suitabilitydepending on the correlative theories and the value tropism of aim of efficiency andharmonious, and at last evaluates the Peking Olympic Park.The first charter shows the problems of stadium & gymnasium in China, and brings forward the conception of the sports place. The thesis lays emphasis on therelationship between large sports place and city based on the structuralism, systemismand biology. At last, the author raises the meaning, method, content and the frame.The second charter discusses the evolvement of the city character of the sportsplace, and the causation, character and trend, and the special function of the Olympic.The third charter chooses six cities which are Shanghai, Guangzhou, Changsha,Jinan, Roma and Helsinki as the cases of study. The thesis discusses the relationshipbetween the large sports place and city from three aspects that are the character of city,the actuality and character of the large sports places, and concludes the model ofrelationship.The forth charter studies the relationship of interaction between the large sportsplace and city. Through the analysis of influence caused by large sports games, forexample, the Olympic and The Asian Games, the thesis concludes the economictheories and functionary mechanism, and studies the meaning that caused by largesports place of strengthening the city function, improving the city environment,fasting the city development, perfecting the city establishment and improving thestandard of living. Obviously the influence of the relationship of interaction is bothactively and negative.The fifth charter studies the relationship of suitability between the large sportsplace and city, and puts emphasis on the addressing, traffic, distribution, size, spaceand configuration of large sports place.The sixth charter brings forward the principle and the evaluation system of theincorporation of interaction and suitability depending on and the value tropism of aimof efficiency and harmonious, and at last evaluates three types of large sports place.The seventh charter evaluates the Peking Olympic Park, and makes somesuggestions.The eighth charter shows the contents that need continue to study about thesubject.
