City Ground Suitability Analysis Base On GIS Technology

This thesis coming from subsidizing task about national natural science sustentation found "city planning developments, management and service engineering" (evaluating method and technique about the city land suitability). The city land suitability evaluation is a very important foundation work for city planning. Reasonable choice of city land for development is not only the foundation of various special planning, but also important influence to overall arrangement of the whole city, the social economy development.In our country, recently most big cities are suffering from restrict of the method and technique ,so most qualitative method will be used in process of city land suitability evaluation to confirm classification and ration. Because affecting factor in land suitability is various, the influence degree (modulus) that evaluation target for each factor is different. This kind of evaluation method can not give objectivly quantitative difference in city land suitability, and it makes city planning more subjective. It is very necessary to search after a quantitative method for city land suitability. This method will be more objectivly and scientific to conviction of project and to city planning embedded analysis. The quick development in computer technique and technique application in GIS has gradually become foundation working for evaluation method about city planning from the qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis. At same time it can show analysis result by GIS technique and it can become a kind of valid tool for space data. This thesis will base on the related theory analysis of city land suitability evaluation at first, then study method about city land suitability according to the GIS technique. The thesis constitute of seven parts.Part one: This chapter expatiate clearly study purpose study meaning study origin and study frame. At same time this chapter will expatiate clearly development difference between domestic and overseas.Part two: General outline city land suitability evaluation target, contents and evaluation type, applications field and applications foreground and meanings basing on GIS technique and finally discuss the city land suitability evaluation model according to GIS technique.Part three: Discuss the relation between GIS technique and the method of city land suitability evaluation ,on the other hand emphasize technique support from the appliedfoundation.Part four: At first discuss the relation between city ecology and the method of city landsuitability, secondly clarify city ecology as the basic evaluation method for the city landsuitability evaluation model basing on the GIS technique.Part five: Discuss the relation of city planning and city land suitability evaluationmethod, then instruct city land suitability evaluation from the concrete request of thecity planning.Part six: Using two concrete example studies realization of city land suitability basingon GIS technique.Part seven: Conclusion part, summarize point of city land suitability method from thethesis concerning basing on GIS technique and prospect subsequent research work.
