From The Tradition To The Modernization

With the development of modernization and people's increasing living standard, interior design becomes unprecedentedly popular. Meanwhile, it shows confusing design theory between the traditional and the modern, the international and the regional, the technical and the art. Huizhou architecture culture has the relatively well conserved excellent pure-Chinese culture, which has both traditional Chinese culture characteristics and the regional ones. So the study of the passing down and development of Huizhou architecture can find a solution to the problems between the traditional and the modern as well as the international and the regional. This paper studies the Huizhou architecture culture from the interior design angle in order to find the theoretical and practical support to the modern interior design from the traditional Chinese architecture culture. It explores the following three parts:The first part explores theoretically the passing down and development of traditional architecture culture in interior design. First, this part studies the relations between traditional architecture culture and modernization and explains the concepts of culture, traditional culture, traditional architecture culture and modernization as well as their characteristics. Secondly, it provides the concept, main parts and background of modern interior design. The third part provides the principal and methods in which traditional architecture culture passes down and develops in modern interior design.The second part focuses on Huizhou architecture culture and its characteristics, such as its forming background, studying the characteristics of Huizhou ancient villages, its architectural space, decorating art and aesthetic psychology.The third part focuses on the passing down and development of modern interior design in Huizhou architecture culture, such as Huizhou ancient villages, its architectural space, decorating art and aesthetic psychology with plenty of cases analysed.Finally, this paper find the conclusion from the analysis of the progress.
