Influence Of Traditional Architecture On Modern Architecture Based On Regional Culture

Regional culture is the sum of the unique and distinctive spirits,customs,and styles of a certain region or ethnic group formed by people in their long-term social production and life.Due to the material and spiritual differences bestowed on humans by different eras and regional environments,these unique contents present a rich,diverse,and colorful style,thus possessing distinct regional characteristics.It not only reflects the level and achievements of people in various regions in creating history and developing civilization,but also provides important clues for future generations to understand their own nation and its traditions.Based on regional culture,this paper analyzes the impact of traditional architecture on modern architecture through the construction factors of architecture,and then proposes the principles to be followed in the design process.It provides a certain theoretical reference for contemporary architectural design by better understanding the charm of traditional Chinese architecture.Jingdezhen is a historic city with profound cultural heritage.This paper takes the traditional architecture in Jingdezhen as an example to analyze and study the regional background,and summarizes its natural geographical characteristics,traditional cultural characteristics and the regional characteristics of traditional architecture.On this basis,this paper further classifies the traditional architecture in this region,explores its architectural characteristics and analyzes the symbols of traditional architecture in this region using modern regional architecture in Jingdezhen,such as the Bingding Wood Kiln and the Imperial Kiln Museum.The application of traditional architectural factors to modern regional architecture is conducive to a comprehensive and profound understanding of local architectural art and history,and can strengthen the cultural identity of local people.This paper summarizes the design principles of modern regionalism based on the aesthetic value and significance conveyed by traditional architecture,which provides a new approach for urban construction and can also serve as a reference for new ideas,new thinking,and new originality in other fields.
