The thesis proceeds from the relationship of people and environment, inquireinto the problem of behavior, psychology and the law of cognition, the thesisanalyses the essence and intension of "humanization" environment. And seeks afterthe practical and guiding principles and tactics for the target of "humanization"design in metro station environment. Then the author establishes the principle of"humanization" design, and provide the new idea to make the metro stationenvironment of high quality which accord with the development of the country andthe times. The thesis first investigates and studies the metro station of Shanghai, andreviews the basic theories and the history of the metro development. Then the thesispoints out that the metro station synthesis will be the orientation in development inthe future, which compromise the function of traffic transfer, commerce, entertainment and relaxation. With this trend, it is necessary to construct theunderground environment both the health and mental state, and propose the"humanization" design. In the main part of this thesis, the author from the physiologyand psychological these two different angles to comb and position the design factorof metro station space. Then the thesis proceeds analysis by practice and the spotquestionnaire to investigate, the author bring up the countermeasure of"humanization" design in metro station environment from several angles as thehumanities, disabled design, safety and disaster prevention and service-sign system. Finally, the author expound the case and practice of "humanization" design in metrostation environment, that will be used for reference in future design work.
