This thesis could be divided into two parts. In first part, the target super hybrid rice combination Pei'ai64S/E32 is used as main material with the check of Shanyou 63, the most popularized three-line hybrid in China, in order to understand the morphological and physiological mechanism of super high yield in rice. In second part three TGMS lines such as Pci'ai64S and 39 restorers such as Mingbui63, E32, 9311 etc., together with the reciprocal F1, F2 and BCFI between the TGMS lines and the restorers are used as the materials to find out the basic law of the morphological features in genetically, by means of the softwares (programmes) of DPS for variance analysis, PHL for combining ability analysis, QQ for the Maximum Likelihood Estim~tion in genetics model and MS Excel 97 for common mathematics analysis. The purpose of this study is to lay a foundation for super hybrid rice breeding and cultivation theoretically. Main results are as follows. 1. In comparison with Shanyou 63, Pei'ai64S/E32 has many morphological advantages over the uppermost 3 leaves, such as the smaller leaf angle, the smaller leaf droopy angle and higher leaf wiling index (LRI) which could benefit the F1 population with more energy absorption from sunshine and the ventilation ability to some extent. 2. The duration with the light intensity over the light compensation point on the bottom leaves of Pci'ai64S/E32 in sunny day is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in comparison with the check of from 12:00 am to 2:00 pm on)y. It is conducive to keeping the photosynthesis function of the bottom leaves to sonic extent, which would be favorable for anti-senescence of the hybrid's roQt system and lays a morphological foundation for increase of photosynthetic efficiency consequently. 3. The coefficient of extinction of Pei'ai64S/E32 (0.3852) is much smaller than that of the check, which makes it possible to increase the lcaf area index (LAD in F1 hybrid. Theoretically, the optimum LAI of Pei'ai64S/E32 at the heading stage is 66.2% higher over the check. 4. The LA! and the chlorophyll content of Pei'ai64S/E32 in late stage decreases slowlier than that of the check. 5. The cumulative rate of total dry matter in Pei'ai64S/E32 after heading stage is 25% higher over the check. 6. And in F1 generation, the proformancc of the natural plant height is inclinable to heterobeltiosis; but then the flag leaf angle, flag leaf droopy angle and specific leaf weight (SLW) inclinable to lower parental value with the flag leaf length, width, area to high parental value and LRI to mean-parental value. 7. According to the combining ability analysis, the F1 panicle length, number of primary branches, flag leaf length, flag leaf area and 2~?leaf length are more influenced by paternal parent than by maternal parent. On the contrary, the plant height and the distance between 2nd leaf and 3rd leaf are much more influenced by maternal parent, and the concentricity of stems, length of panicle neck as well as flag leaf droopy angle more influenced by the interaction between TGMS line and restorer. 8. TGMS line Pei'ai64S and restorers of Reyan 1, Milyang 23, 9311 and Changlizhua as well are the best parents in terms of combining ability of the most morphological characters according to the study. 9.
