China is a great agricultural country but with backward scientific study and application of agricultural technology. Currently, large population, limited soil resources, traditional farming mode and frequent natural disasters are fundamental situations of China, so the central government has been attaching great importance to the development of agriculture and put forward a newagricultural technology revolution-transformation from traditionalagriculture to modern agriculture and transformation from extensive farming tointensive farming-to boost agricultural informationization in China. Anddigital agriculture is the core of agricultural informationization, it will greatly promote agricultural technology revolution, speed up two agricultural transformations and rapid agriculture development, and enhance China' s competitiveness after the entrance of WTO to enjoy more shares in international agriculture market. Due to fresh beginning of study in digital agriculture at home and abroad, definition, scientific system, technological system, framework system and so on of digital agriculture all need creative study, especially in framework system and model construction of standard field patch as its essentials. Because more deeply and more specifically synthetic analysis study can' t be made until clear framework systems are figured out; land-farming, sowing, fertilization, irrigation, insect-extermination, harvesting, storage and transportation, distribution, yield analysis etc on standard patch of field can' t be studied until model of standard patch of field has been built. In accordance with the theories and technology of digital earth, the definition of digital agriculture, with its scientific systems and technological systems, is put forward in this article based on agricultural status quo at home and abroad after three-year study with great concentration; on above basis, framework system of digital agriculture is constructed, and main construction contents of digital agriculture are put forward; based on model of systematic, multi-dimension, fuzzydecision-making, models of multi-target, multilevel, fuzzy decision-making theory on how to ascertain the size of the farmland is built, by which decision-making problem in model of farmland of digital agriculture is settled from optimized theory; system of multi-target, multilevel, fuzzy decision-making on how to ascertain the size of the farmland is developed under VB and spatial database system, by which how to memory dynamic arrays is settled; application study is operated on land-settlement in Zhangqiu City in Shandong Province, which proves the accuracy, validity of the two above models on how to ascertain the size of the farmland, and models of road, bridge, culvert, ditch etc are made on above basis, then model of spatial information of farmland in digital agriculture is constructed under the CCGIS system. This article is connected with the question for discussion on digital agriculture in Chinese National 863 Plan (2003AA209050-5), study on techniques of cow precise breeding and key technology of information collection, and land-settlement project in Zhangqiu City, presided by Ministry of national land resources, and its main theory and technology has been applied into projects and engineering.
