There are abundant resources of crop residues in China. It was estimated that the amount of crop residues is 6×10~8 tons annually. Thereinto, there are 3.5 X 108 tons crop residues can be burned as fuel in China's rural areas annually. Biomass is clean renewable energy. However the efficiency of straw combustion is very low because ways and means of straw combustion are simple and dated. A majority of them are burned on the spot and results in serious environment polluted and biomass resources wasted in China's rural areas. Therefore, the techniques of studying converting agricultural waste into high-grade fuels have been paid great attention to. The technology of converting agricultural waste into straw densification briquetting fuel (hereinafter refers to SDBF) of high-grade and high density has been lucubrated. It is important that developing the SDBF technology for agricultural ecological environment and rural living conditions and agricultural sustainable development. At present, more and more people become to pay more attention to the SDBF technology. With developing of the technology, it is coming to the time of scale business and industrialization, and the SDBF will become escalation of rural energy. The research is portion of Agricultural Scientific and Technological Production Funds Project of Ministry of Science and Technology Assembling and Testing Manufacture of Biomass (straw) Briquetting Production Line Equipments (2001AA51302001), the Tenth Five-year Plan Key Project of Ministry of Science and Technology Biomass Briquetting Key Techniques and Relative Equipment Study(2001BA403B04) and Henna Province Scientific and Technological Brainstorm Project Crop Stalk Briquetting Key Techniques and Industrialization Research of the Relative Equipment (0124110304). The relaxed density, shatter resistance, water resistance and combustion characteristic of straw briquettes has been investigated in this paper, which affect the SDBF technology scale business. Circular economy organizing mode and a typical example of the techniques scale business have been analyzed and evaluated in this thesis. The main conclusion as follows:1. Using the mathematical model of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the starw densification briquetting technology was evaluated by their econo-technical properties. So we get the priority development project orders of SDBF techniques that suit for Chinese conditions, and choose a higher industry value and developing potential technique of them to test and demonstrate.2. The influence of relaxed density was investigated in the experiment.
