The mechanism of dietary-induced fatty liver of Palmipedes remains puzzling (Hermier et al., 2003).The difference that different breed fatty liver forms is not clear. In the research and production of the fatty liver, analyse in term of raising, it is equally important with before overfeeding and during overfeeding, analyse in terms of hereditary characteristic, the breed determines the key factor that the fatty liver is produced. This research adopts the experimental design method of the single factor, study on effect of different dietary fiber on growth performance and Serum parameters in Landes goose and Xupu Geese before overfeeding first, then study on optimum level of pre-overfeeding feedstuff in geese fatty liver, finally study the effects of them on fatty liver performance, lipid metabolism, fatty liver composition, fat storage and distributing in fatty liver tissue and hepatocytes in overfed Landes Geese and Xupu Geese were investigated, respectively. The results summarized as follows:1 Effect of different dietary fiber on growth performance and serum parameters in Landes goose and Xupu GeesePurpose: Effect of growth performance and partly blood biochemical index in Landes goose and Xupu Geese on condition that energy and protein were equal in diet of three levels of crude fiber.Method: In this experiment, 190 Landes geese that weight was about 2.4kg were used to study on the effects of three levels of crude fiber on growth performance and dressed performance and partly blood biochemical index on condition that energy and protein were equal in diet of three levels of crude fiber.10 gooses were killed for dressed performance before experiment, and others (180 birds) were divided in to treatment 1, treatment 2, treatment 3, 60 every groups. There are three repeats in per treatment and 20 geese in per repeat, and fed 4wks. Rice hullmeal were selected as the main fiber sources in the tested diet. The method of Xupu Geese was the same with Landes Geese.Result: (1) When the level of crude fiber was 4%,8%,12%, Daily gain and Daily feed intake of Landes Geese was 239.56g, 275.15g, 286.94g (p<0.05) and 41.38g, 52.85g, 45.32g, respectively, Feed conversion efficiency is 5.80, 5.12, 6.25, respectively. Daily gain and Daily feed intake of Xupu Geese was 246.72g, 277.95g, 295.61g,(p<0.05) and41.81g, 56.13g, 49.29g(p <0.05), respectively, Feed conversion efficiency is5.83, 5.46, 5. 65(p>0.05), respectively.
